What Counts as a Qualifying Website Order?
- One legitimate, paid order completed directly through the Shake to Elevate website during the Bonus period.
- One completed order number counts as one order, regardless of the number of eligible products or order value.
- Sample-pack-only orders do not count. An order containing at least one paid product other than the sample pack does count.
- Discounted orders count if the order includes at least one paid eligible product and is successfully processed.
- Canceled, refunded, disputed, fraudulent, internal test, replacement, and zero-dollar finalist product-redemption orders do not count.
- Multiple legitimate orders from the same customer count. The customer’s identity does not affect whether a legitimate order counts.
- The website progress tracker will be updated at least daily but remains unofficial until the final count is certified.
Initial Entry Requirements
- One entry total per person. Each entrant must select exactly one category.
- Entrant must be at least 18 years old and an eligible legal resident of the United States or District of Columbia, excluding Nebraska.
- Submit the recipe title, selected category, complete ingredients with quantities, directions, servings, preparation/cooking time, and a short explanation of why the recipe fits the selected category.
- Submit at least one clear original photo or one original video no longer than 60 seconds. A viewable public or unlisted link may be used for video.
- Shake to Elevate product is not required for the initial entry.
- The recipe and submitted content must be original to the entrant and must not infringe another person’s rights.
What “No Salt” Means for This Challenge
Entries may not add table salt, sea salt, kosher salt, potassium chloride, commercial salt substitutes, or salt-containing seasoning blends. Naturally sodium-containing ingredients—such as cheese, bread, sauces, canned foods, broth, or condiments—are permitted. Lower-sodium versions are encouraged but not required. The goal is meaningful sodium reduction, not the elimination of every naturally occurring milligram of sodium.
Finalist Video Requirements
- 10 to 60 seconds long.
- Vertical and ready for a social-media post.
- Show the finished dish and how Shake to Elevate was used.
- Edited for clear pacing, creativity, and easy viewing. Professional equipment is not required.
- No copyrighted music or other content the finalist does not have permission to use.
- Likes, views, follower count, and audience engagement do not affect judging.
- The finalist must either post the video publicly on Instagram or Facebook and tag the official Shake to Elevate account identified in the finalist instructions, or submit the video directly and authorize Shake to Elevate to publish it.
- If a finalist posts publicly, the disclosure must appear clearly within the video itself using substantially the following language: “Shake to Elevate provided the seasoning used in this video because I am a finalist in its No-Salt Recipe Challenge.” The disclosure may also be repeated in the accompanying caption. No hashtag is required.

Owners and employees of Sponsor, contractors directly involved in administering or judging the Contest, and members of their immediate households or immediate families are not eligible to enter.
The Contest is void in Nebraska and where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Contest Period and Key Dates
The Contest begins August 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”). Initial entries must be received by August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Potential finalists are scheduled to be announced and notified on or about September 5, 2026. Final-round submissions must be received by September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Category winners and the Grand Champion are scheduled to be announced on or about October 15, 2026.
Sponsor’s website server and Shopify records are the official timekeeping and order-count records for the Contest.
4. How to Enter
During the initial entry period, complete and submit the entry form on the Contest webpage. Entry is free and no purchase is required.
Each person may submit only one entry total and must select one of the following categories: Best Budget-Friendly Meal, Best Family-Friendly Meal, or Best Healthy Makeover.
An entry must include the entrant’s full name, email address, phone number, city and state, confirmation of age and eligibility, recipe title, selected category, complete ingredients with quantities, preparation directions, servings, preparation/cooking time, a short description, an explanation of category fit, and at least one clear original photo or one original video no longer than 60 seconds.
Shake to Elevate product is not required for the initial entry. Social-media posting is not required for the initial entry.
Automated, duplicated, incomplete, late, or multiple entries from the same person are void. If multiple entries are received from one person, Sponsor may consider only the first complete eligible entry received.
5. Recipe and Content Requirements
Each entry must be the entrant’s own original recipe and original photo/video content. The entrant must have all rights and permissions needed to submit the content and grant the permissions described in these Rules.
The recipe may not add table salt, sea salt, kosher salt, potassium chloride, commercial salt substitutes, or salt-containing seasoning blends. Naturally sodium-containing ingredients, including cheese, bread, sauces, canned foods, broth, and condiments, are permitted. Lower-sodium versions are encouraged but not required.
Entries must use safe and lawful food-preparation methods and may not include unlawful, dangerous, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or infringing material; unauthorized copyrighted music or media; false or unverifiable medical claims; or content that violates another person’s privacy or publicity rights.
Sponsor may reject an entry that does not reasonably fit the selected category or otherwise comply with these Rules.
6. Category Standards
- Best Budget-Friendly Meal: Judged on affordability, practicality, and accessible ingredients. The entrant must provide an estimated total cost or cost per serving. No fixed maximum dollar amount applies.
- Best Family-Friendly Meal: Judged on how approachable, practical, and suitable the recipe is for serving or appealing to a household. No fixed serving count or preparation-time limit applies.
- Best Healthy Makeover: The entrant must identify the familiar or original dish and explain the changes made to reduce sodium or otherwise improve ingredients or preparation. Sponsor does not determine whether a recipe is medically appropriate for any person.
7. Initial-Round Judging and Finalist Selection
Eligible initial entries will be scored by Sponsor’s judging panel using the following criteria: category fit, 30%; creativity and originality, 25%; practicality and recipe clarity, 25%; and visual appeal, 20%.
The five highest-scoring eligible entries in each category will be selected as potential finalists, for a maximum of fifteen finalists. If fewer than five eligible entries are received in a category, Sponsor may select fewer finalists.
In the event of an initial-round tie, the entry with the higher category-fit score will advance. If still tied, the higher creativity-and-originality score will control, followed by a re-evaluation by the judging panel.
8. Finalist Notification, Acceptance, and Product Package
Potential finalists will be contacted using the email address and/or phone number provided with the entry and must respond within 48 hours of the notification being sent. A potential finalist who does not respond on time, cannot be verified, declines, or is found ineligible may be replaced by the next highest-scoring eligible entry in the same category.
Each verified finalist will receive a unique code to select any two available full-size Shake to Elevate flavors, including Guilt Free options, at no cost. Sponsor will pay standard shipping to the finalist’s eligible United States delivery address.
The finalist product package has an approximate retail value of $29.00, based on the current retail price of $14.50 per full-size bottle. Finalist redemption orders are zero-dollar promotional orders and do not count toward the Sales Milestone Bonus.
The finalist package is provided solely to enable participation in the final round and may not be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by the finalist.
9. Final-Round Requirements
Each finalist must submit a finalized recipe that remains in the same category, complete ingredients and directions, at least one clear finished-dish photo, a short explanation of how Shake to Elevate was used, and a vertical video between 10 and 60 seconds.
The final-round recipe must use at least one Shake to Elevate flavor selected by the finalist. Finalists may revise their original recipe provided it remains eligible and in the same category.
The video must be edited and ready for a social-media post, show the finished dish and how Shake to Elevate was used, and contain only content and music the finalist is authorized to use. Professional equipment is not required.
Each finalist must either: (a) post the final video publicly on Instagram or Facebook and tag the official Shake to Elevate account identified in the finalist instructions; or (b) submit the video directly to Sponsor and authorize Sponsor to publish it.
A finalist who posts publicly must clearly disclose the free product relationship in the video or accompanying post using substantially the following language: “Shake to Elevate provided the seasoning used in this video because I am a finalist in its No-Salt Recipe Challenge.” No hashtag is required. Any optional hashtag, follower count, likes, views, comments, or engagement will not affect judging.
A finalist who misses the final-round deadline or fails to comply with these requirements forfeits finalist and winner eligibility. Sponsor may appoint an alternate if time reasonably permits.
10. Final-Round Judging
Eligible final-round submissions will be scored by Sponsor’s judging panel using the following criteria: category fit, 25%; creativity and originality, 20%; flavor concept and effective use of Shake to Elevate, 20%; recipe clarity and practicality, 15%; and video creativity, editing, and social-media readiness, 20%.
Judges will evaluate the submitted recipe, ingredients, preparation method, explanation, photo/video, and overall concept. Judges will not prepare or taste the entries. Flavor concept will be evaluated from the submitted materials and entrant’s explanation.
Professional filming equipment, paid editing, follower count, and audience engagement are not required and do not receive separate credit.
11. Winner Selection and Tie-Breaking
The highest-scoring eligible final-round submission in each category will be selected as that category’s winner. The category winner with the highest overall final-round score will also be selected as the Grand Champion.
If final-round scores are tied, the higher category-fit score will control, followed by the higher flavor-concept score, followed by the higher creativity-and-originality score. If still tied, the judging panel will re-evaluate the tied submissions using the published criteria.
Judging decisions are final and binding on all matters involving skill, scoring, category fit, and compliance with these Rules.
12. Guaranteed Prizes
Grand Champion: one $100 American Express eGift Card and one five-flavor Shake to Elevate Gift Box, approximate retail value $39.95.
Other Two Category Winners: one five-flavor Shake to Elevate Gift Box each, approximate retail value $39.95 each.
The three category winners may also receive the Sales Milestone Bonus described below.
13. Sales Milestone Bonus
The amount of the Sales Milestone Bonus is based solely on the final number of Qualifying Website Orders completed from August 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PT through September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT (“Bonus Period”). Purchases do not affect entry eligibility, judging, finalist selection, or winner selection.
The Bonus amounts at each tier are total amounts unlocked at that tier and are not cumulative additions:
| Final Qualifying Order Count | Grand Champion Bonus | Each Other Category Winner |
| Under 50 | $0 | $0 |
| 50–99 | $50 | $0 |
| 100–149 | $200 | $25 |
| 150–199 | $450 | $50 |
| 200 or more | $900 | $100 |
At the maximum tier, the Grand Champion receives $1,000 total in American Express eGift Card value ($100 guaranteed prize plus $900 Bonus), and each of the other two category winners receives a $100 Bonus. The maximum total American Express eGift Card value awarded is $1,200.
For purposes of the Bonus, one “Qualifying Website Order” means one legitimate, paid, successfully processed order number completed directly through the Shake to Elevate website during the Bonus Period that includes at least one paid product other than the sample pack. Sample-pack-only orders, Amazon orders, retail orders, wholesale orders, Faire orders, canceled orders, refunded orders, disputed or fraudulent orders, internal test orders, replacement orders, and zero-dollar promotional or finalist-redemption orders do not count. Multiple legitimate orders from the same customer count. The customer’s identity does not affect whether a legitimate order counts.
Sponsor intends to update the public progress tracker at least daily. Tracker totals are preliminary and may change because of processing delays, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, fraud review, or clerical correction. Sponsor will certify the final Qualifying Website Order count no later than October 7, 2026 using the Shopify order records. Refunds or chargebacks processed before certification will be excluded. After certification, the count is final except in the case of fraud or clear clerical error.
14. Maximum Approximate Retail Value
The maximum aggregate value of American Express eGift Cards awarded is $1,200. The maximum aggregate value of the three winner Gift Boxes is $119.85. The maximum aggregate value of the fifteen finalist product packages is $435.00. The maximum aggregate approximate retail value of all finalist packages and prizes is $1,754.85.
15. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winners will be notified using the email address and/or phone number provided. A potential winner may be required to respond within five calendar days and provide proof of eligibility, a valid delivery email/address, and any affidavit, release, tax form, or other document reasonably required by Sponsor.
Failure to respond, inability to verify eligibility, refusal to complete required documents, or violation of these Rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate based on the next highest score.
Prizes and earned Bonuses will be delivered within approximately 30 days after winner verification and final Bonus certification. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. Sponsor may report prizes as required by law.
Prizes are nontransferable and may not be redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised item becomes unavailable. American Express is not a sponsor or administrator of this Contest.
16. Entrant Ownership and License to Sponsor
Entrants retain ownership of their recipes and submitted content. By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to reproduce, edit for length, format, clarity, or branding, publish, display, distribute, archive, and promote the submitted recipe, photos, videos, name, approved likeness, voice, and social handle in connection with the Contest, Shake to Elevate products, and Sponsor’s marketing, in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation, where permitted by law.
Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to credit entrants by first name and, when authorized and available, social-media handle. Sponsor is not required to publish or use any entry.
17. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation and acceptance of a finalist package or prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to identify an entrant or winner by first name, state, winning category, submitted content, and authorized social handle, and to use approved photos, video, voice, and likeness for Contest and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
18. Privacy
Information collected through the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, communicate with entrants, verify eligibility, deliver finalist products and prizes, publish authorized winner information, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Shake to Elevate Privacy Policy at https://shop.shaketoelevate.com/policies/privacy-policy.
Submitting an entry does not by itself enroll the entrant in marketing email or text messages. Any separate marketing consent must be voluntary and separately presented.
19. General Conditions and Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, order tracker, website, judging, or administration; submits false information; infringes another person’s rights; attempts to manipulate the Bonus count; acts abusively or disruptively; or otherwise violates these Rules.
Sponsor may cancel, suspend, extend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failure, platform outage, natural disaster, legal restriction, or another event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects fair or safe administration. If feasible, Sponsor will select winners from eligible entries received before the disruption using the published judging criteria.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, inaccessible, or technically defective entries, links, uploads, notifications, shipments, or platform communications; or for failures caused by internet, device, email, carrier, social-media, Shopify, or other third-party systems.
20. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants and finalists release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, judges, service providers, and advertising or promotion partners, and Instagram and Facebook, from claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or delivery of a finalist package or prize, except for liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
Nothing in these Rules limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
21. Instagram and Facebook Disclaimer
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliates. Each entrant and participant completely releases Instagram and Facebook from responsibility for the Contest.
Entrants must not inaccurately tag people or content. Sharing on a personal timeline, tagging friends, following an account, or engaging with a post is not required to enter and does not improve judging.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from the Contest must be brought individually and not as a class action in a state or federal court located in Riverside County, California.
If any provision of these Rules is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
23. Results and Contact
Winner names, categories, and the Grand Champion result are expected to be posted on the Contest webpage and Shake to Elevate social channels on or about October 15, 2026.
Questions about the Contest may be sent to info@shaketoelevate.com with “Recipe Challenge” in the subject line.
